Our Mission
We believe that useful tools should be free, fast, and private. No sign-ups, no uploads, no tracking —just tools that work.
Every tool on TechToolkit runs entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your computer when you compress them; your JSON stays local when you format it. We don't have servers that store your data —because there's nothing to store.
Why We Built This
We noticed a problem: most "free online tools" either:
- Upload your files to their servers —a privacy risk
- Require sign-ups —unnecessary friction
- Bury tools under layers of ads —terrible experience
- Have hidden limits —"free" but throttled after 3 uses
TechToolkit is different. We built a toolkit where:
- ✓All processing is client-side —your data stays on your device
- ✓No account required —just open the tool and use it
- ✓No artificial limits —compress as many images as you want
- ✓Works offline —most tools work without internet after the page loads
- ✓Clean, fast interface —we prioritize performance and usability
Our Technology
We use modern web technologies to deliver the best experience:
- HTML5 Canvas API —for image processing and compression
- Web Crypto API —for secure hash generation (MD5, SHA)
- Canvas-based QR generation —no external API calls needed
- Service Workers —for offline functionality (coming soon)
- Pure vanilla JavaScript —no heavy frameworks, just fast code
By keeping everything on the client side, we ensure maximum performance and privacy. No data ever hits our servers because there are no backend servers to hit.
